In Sacramento, state legislature lobbyist and lawyer Harvey Dublin goes missing from his limousine and his driver, Peter Russo, is found next to it shot in the head. New CBI director Gale Bertram, involved in a financial scandal Dublin's office handled, gives the case absolute priority, but Patrick refuses to work on it after being saved by Red John. Lisbon tricks him by confronting him with the mourning Russo family, so he vows revenge, saying she won't see coming, while predicting the kidnapping is fake.
